What the model reads
Record or correct one company metric value for a period — annual revenue, operating profit, MAU, employee count, GMV and similar time-series numbers. Money goes in amount with its USD equivalent; anything else goes in value with a unit. The period is a year, half, quarter, month or day. Same call overwrites the same period.
